Your safety is our top priority

Lab Safety Rules
Mandatory: Successfully pass the OLSEH Safety Test before lab entry
Adhere to General, Chemical, Laser, and Gas safety protocols
Always wear appropriate PPE — lab coat, gloves, safety glasses
Follow instrument-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
No food or drinks in the lab premises
Booking Guidelines
Book instruments at least one week in advance
Cancel bookings at least 2 days before the slot
Arrive on time for your booked instrument slot
Complete all measurements within your booked duration
Clean up after use and inform incharge upon completion
Report any equipment malfunctions immediately
Payment System
Internal Users (IISc)

Must provide a valid PI Debit Head during registration. Usage charges will be debited directly from the project fund upon approval.

External Academic

Payment via Bank Transfer to the IISc main account. Details and official bill will be provided once the booking is confirmed.

Industry Users

Requires Advance Payment via bank transfer. We will provide the IISc banking details for industrial collaboration upon request.

Note: Violation of safety rules may result in booking privileges being suspended.
